MORE BANDS

  Bakehouse Tuesday

At rehearasl - 2005

Lead Vocals : Ed Demetriou

Ex lead singer with Whichwhat known as the bastard in the band. nothing is ever right or tight enough for him...Yells and shouts a lot..hated mainly for turning up at jams and gigs with just a Microphone stand, mic and tambourine.

Bass Guitar : Aldo Mazzoni

Although Aldo started playing guitar late as an 18 year old, he's been hooked ever since. He likes to play a thumping, rocky bass style that taps into the beat and this shows in his playing style and in the way he jumps, dances and moves while he's playing. Although he's no Travolta, he has a ball on stage.Aldo's likes most music and, being a bass player, likes it best when he's playing in front of a crowd. While he's jammed with many friends over the years and performed in amateur theatre, Bakehouse Tuesday is his first performing band. He's a computer professional behind the scenes, when he's filling in the hours between the times he has the most fun - Jamming and doing gigs.

Rhythm Guitar : Graeme McInnes

"Graeme has been playing guitar since his teens, lucky to have an inspirational tutor, Jack Eyles from Grafton NSW. Through college days he played with "The Screwdrivers" best remembered for "Big Black Dog". Later years saw the Fender Redondo gathering dust while work, family and house renovations took up time. With Bakehouse Tuesday Graeme plays a Maton Mastersound 503 powered by a Marshall AVT50."

Drums : Greg Norton-Smith

Greg has been playing drums for around 25 years covering rock, reggae, disco in cover bands and then funk with the original line-up of the 7-piece funk band STREET LIFE. After joining CITY LIMITS, a pop rock band in the 80's, he had a break for a few years before moving back into 50's rock 'n' roll, country and covers with RIMSHOT in 1993 until joining BAKEHOUSE TUESDAY in mid-2004. He uses a combination of acoustic and Roland electronic kit on stage in preference to his 11-piece acoustic drum and percussion kit.

Lead Guitar : Paul Gosling

Paul: Worked with Aldo and Graeme for a now defunked domestic airline.........jammed at each others houses before getting together with Ed and Godly (ex drummer).......Was originally a rhythm guitarist but switched to lead because "it's too hard to play chords all the time" he says.....go figure.........he also practices the least preferring to get it together on rehearsal night. Most annoying that he has time to wipe his strings between lead bits.........something that really irks Graeme, who obviously strums from start to finish without a single moment to wipe down??

Original line-up (with Godly George - far left), receiving an award for music excellence and most beer drunk.
