Walt 'Doc' Savage (KEYBOARDS) joined the Bar Room Band in 1980 along with "Shonk" Burton (DRUMS), Dave Richards (BASS) ,Mel Monks (Guitar)and together with T.P. Stubbs (LEAD VOCALS AND GUITAR) toured the UK for 3 years achieving great popularity on the country music scene. They made studio and live recordings during that time, and were featured by the BBC on their weekly country music program. They headlined at Country Music festivals all over the UK and are still fondly remembered by their loyal following.
